Chinese-Made Cars Banned from Entering Poland

Poland has officially banned Chinese-made cars from entering its military facilities. This ban was imposed due to concerns about sensors installed in the vehicles manufactured by the global economic giant.

According to the Polish military, the ban stems from concerns the Polish government has that the sensors could be used to collect sensitive data, as reported by Times Live, Wednesday (February 18, 2026).

The Polish military stated that Chinese-made vehicles may be permitted entry if certain functions are disabled and additional security measures are implemented in accordance with facility security regulations.

Furthermore, the military has prohibited connecting company phones to infotainment systems in Chinese-made vehicles to prevent the risk of leaking classified information.

However, the Polish military emphasized that these restrictions do not apply to publicly accessible military locations, such as hospitals, clinics, libraries, prosecutors’ offices, or garrison clubs.

This Polish policy underscores Europe’s increasing precautionary measures, in line with practices used by members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and other allies to maintain high standards of protection for defense infrastructure.
