The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (Iran’s elite armed unit/IRGC) said it had destroyed an oil refinery in Haifa, Israel.
“The Haifa oil refinery has been destroyed by Iran’s Kheibar Shekan missile,” said a statement from the IRGC as reported by Antara on Sunday (March 8, 2026).
The IRGC also said it had carried out attacks on a U.S. base in Bahrain, U.S. military forces at the Marina Hotel in Dubai, and a number of targets in Haifa.
For your information, the US and Israel launched a series of attacks on several targets inside Iran, including Tehran, resulting in damage and civilian casualties on February 28, 2026.
Iranian state television confirmed the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as a result of the attacks.
Iran responded by launching missile attacks on Israeli territory and US military facilities in the Middle East.
